My name is Jaak Wassmuth. I have been building since 1972. I began my experience as a carpenter's helper and progressed to journeyman. I will be a young 55 this July. I have building experience in six countries and four continents around the world.
I worked in Beverly Hills California for seven years, first as a supervisor and finally as a General Contractor. There I built entertainment homes of between 10,000 to 17,000 square feet. I did "finish fixing," in Brighton England for eight months. I got a job in Perth, Australia building Luke Longley's residence in Cottesloe Beach and it was voted "Home of the year 1996," by the board of realtors there. I have built 4 homes in Mexico and a 6,000 square foot bed and breakfast (www.casadelfinsonriente.com).
I was the contractor who remodeled the restaurant, Paradise Bay, in Sausalito California. I was a Project Manager for Spark Construction in San Francisco and that company has gone in partners with me in my new business here in Puerto Escondido.
I have always known that the hurry up method of building provides dubious results and reflects transient styles. I have endeavored to use my skill to build lasting quality.
I bring to the table 37 years of building experience and a great deal of enthusiasm.
Thank you for your consideration. |
