Puertomagic is a an international team of professionals: developers, real estate brokers, builders, engineers, lawyers, immigration specialists and bankers who are dedicated to creating place where people can feel so comfortable that they feel at liberty to try some of the things that their day to day lives have left no room for; things that they have not had the time nor emotional calm to entertain until now.

Retirement is a change in lifestyle; ideally, a place where friends can explore new ideas with their peers, a place where they realize they were not alone on that jammed up freeway but that they were surrounded by people who have creative ideas but oppressive lifestyles as well!

It has become clear that the majority of people are confronted with the need for an affordable lifestyle in their golden years.

Typically these people have saved their money, have a home and security in the United States and elsewhere but the notion of living without working in a country where prices continually rise and the cost of living increases with every year makes retirement there untenable. They have friends that that are on the same slippery slope but there are alternatives.

Most of us have gone to Mexico, enjoyed the simplicity and economy of the life there and thought it would be a nice place to live. While entertaining the idea of making a life here almost at once the restrictions of that decision come to mind, for example, if you are considering moving here permanently; what about my friends, my family or the language barriers. What about health services? Can I really buy land in Mexico and call it my own? Can I rent part of my property to supplement my income?

Or, if you want to live here just part of the year: who is going to care for my home in my absence, how will the bills get paid and how will I keep my property secure and cared for? Can I rent my property when I’m not there to offset the cost of its up keep?
